(1) Forces and Gases: Describes how a barometer works and applies this idea to an altimeter. Illustrates Boyle's Law with a bicycle pump, straws, etc., and uses Bernoulli's Law to explain how an airplane can fly.
(2) Forces and Water: Presents Archimedes' Principle and illustrates it by explaining how a submarine works. Shows the use of a manometer to measure pressure exerted by a liquid. Proves Pascal's Law by showing modern uses of hydraulics (pistons, lifts, brakes, etc.).
