Short and sweet, simple and easy
A samll book with out the benefit of photographs, the book is probably the best ever written for the novice marine hobbyist. Tullock writes in plain English with out any fuss or equivocation. He tells the beginner what to do step by step and does not leave out any steps. While setting up a live coral reef display tank is not a simple matter to comprehend and understand fully, Tullock makes the pratical steps of what hobbyists actually need to do a simple and plain matter. There are not a lot of books that first timers can walk out of the store with that are easy for them to understand. This one is. It is enjoyable and informative at the same time. Every dealer in America should send this book home with each new beginner's tank set-up. The book is that good. His larger book, Natural Reef Aquariums, is a beautiful and worthy sequel.
