SALTWATER FLYCASTING
VERY INSTRUCTIONAL! MAKES A POINT OF HOW MUCH FLYLINE YOU SHOULD HAVE OUT BEFORE CASTING. I CAN'T BELIEVE NO ONE ELSE EVER MADE THIS POINT! IT REALLY HELPS CONTROL THE CAST. THIS TAPE HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL TO ME. I HAVE BEEN FLYFISHING ABOUT 3 YEARS AND SO FAR NO ONE HAS TOLD ME WHAT BILLY PATE TEACHES IN THIS TAPE.

Review of "Saltwater Flycasting with Billy Pate"
Anyone who is interested in improving their saltwater flycasting (both distance & technique), should invest in this video. As flats fisherman, our casting requirements differ from stream and stillwater flyfishermen. Unfortunately, most casting videos cater to the latter. This is where Billy Pate differs from the rest. Being the world-class tarpon fisherman that he is, his tactics are specifically geared toward saltwater flycasting techniques. Although his presentation is a bit dry, the information is of great value. His comments are clear and concise. Most importantly, his teachings are easy to remember. When you're looking at that cruising tarpon or bonefish that is heading right toward you, Billy's words will come to you like Obi One Kanobi's to Luke Skywalker. If you buy the video and practice what you see, then you too will "feel the force". This instructional video is one of my favorites.
