Dough or baked bread is quick and simple
I have had the Breadman Ultimate TR2200C now for about 3 years and continue to use it about once a week. It only takes a few minutes to throw the ingredients in for bread to be finished baking in about 3 hours or program it to have the bread ready later, for example for morning breakfast. I often use the dough cycle and bake on a stone in the oven. For the past several years I have purchased the 50 pound bags of flour at Costco and go through over 100 pounds of flour per year.
When preparing to have bread ready at a future time, one must realize only some recipes are suitable, and the yeast must be added last and remain dry. A common mistake is to not ensure the pan is completely engaged. One otherwise may discover the ingredients have been baked but not mixed.
I have many books on bread making, but Beth Hensperger's "Bread Machine Cookbook" is outstanding. Almost every recipe I have tried has been successful.
I have had an issue with the seals on the paddle shaft. Due to frequent use over many years the seals have reached the end of their service lifetime.

Nice when it works
This is a nice machine with lots of features except it did not last very long. From day one the light would not go off when lid was closed and the pan would come lose while mixing and flop around in the chamber but we figured out how to get around it. We have had it about a year and a half and made maybe 50 loafs of bread in it probably only around 30. My wife made a loaf this morning and now the control panel won't turn on any more. This is the second Breadman we have had and both lasted only 18 months at most. The first I worte off as bad luck and decided to give them another try but it is the last Breadman I will ever buy.

Great bread maker
I was given this bread machine and it was used but well cared for but the instruction manual had been misplaced. So having never made bread before I looked up a recipe on the internet and did what it said and surprise-really perfect bread the first time, and the next, and the next. This machine does the work and does it at the right time. Real cooks, which I am not, tried my bread and all said it was better than they could make themselves. I like how the control panel lets me know what is happening, mixing, kneading, rise cycle, baking and it has a window to let me peek in and see it working. If I can make homemade bread with this, trust me, any one can-it is that easy.
