Works great... have scar to prove it
I was originally interested in an electric sharpener but figured I'd try this first since it was cheaper. Very happy with the results aside from almost cutting off my figure with my super sharp knife.

Performs Well
It's been a few years since I had my kitchen knives sharpened and they were very dull. I decided to buy a sharpener and try doing it myself. This seemed like the best choice because I don't have a lot of counter space. I followed the instructions carefully and got very good results on my two main kitchen knives. They are much sharper and cut food well. If you are looking for a basic product that gets the job done this is a very good choice.

Serrated Knife Sharpener
I purchased this item for sharpening serrated knives. It seems to do an adequate job. I was disappointed in the fact that it only sharpens the very tips of the serrations, not the whole knife blade. My tomato knife, however, is much better at cutting up tomatoes and other vegetables than when it was dull.
