Great product.
I just used my nesco roaster to roast a chicken and it came out fantastic. The chicken was very tender and juicy. I smoked out the roaster for an hour and it was not enugh. It still had a very bad smell. You have to let it burn off for at least 4 hours. But it was well worth the effort.I would buy this product again. The only fault I found was that the lid feels kind of flimsy, I feel they could have made it better quality. however it is still a great product.

You Overlooked the Best Feature
The best feature is that it does not heat up your kitchen like the oven in your stove does. It is worth having even if you only used it in the summer months. We have two; one for the house and one for our RV. It's a natural chice for use in an RV and can be used outside on a picnic table if you want to. I don't know what people were thinking when they bought this as a slow cooker. To start with, there are two vent holes in the lid. How did they expect to slow cook something for several hours when the lid was intentionally designed to let the steam out? Also, use utensils that are designed for teflon.
