Bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother. She loved it and it works like a charm. Couldn't ask for a better system!

Beef jerky - YES!!!!
Does a great job and is well priced. The beef jerky is to die for and is far less expensive than at the grocery store.

Love it!
I was a little reluctant to buy this product as reviews said it was very noisy. Perhaps I'm desensitized to background noise, but for the price, performance and quality, I can stand a little background humming...
I have used it to make venison, beef, turkey and fish jerkies, dry mangoes, pineapples, pears, apples, bananas, and papayas.
I also made potato chips.
All were yummy and perfectly dehydrated.
Don't understand what the fuss is about with regard to the noise? What noise?
