Great for pancakes!
My kids gave this to me so we could compete with IHOP. I have only used it for pancakes but it is fantastic. Cooks my pancakes evenly, easy to clean surface. I don't have much cupboard space so I keep it in the box it came in and slide it under my couch for storage. I don't use the drip tray for pancakes - one less thing to clean up. I wouldn't do bacon on it as I think the low sides would mean too much splatter and mess. For bacon I take the easy way. I line a jelly roll pan with foil and lay out the bacon and cook it in the oven at 350 for about 15 minutes and it comes out perfectly crisp. Get this before the holidays come!

Very pleased, started using it the very next morning to make breakfast for the kids. Made cooking every thing much easier.

Fantastic for Large Family!
I received this griddle last week. I had looked at one at Williams Sonoma that was over $100, but ordered this one because of the reviews on amazon, not to mention the price. The first time I used it was on Sunday morning which is risky because we leave with our four young infantren for church by 8:30. I began cooking at 7am, made bacon and fried eggs, it was all cooked, eaten and cleaned up by 7:35! What a time saver! I almost never cook on Sunday mornings because it takes so long to cook bacon and eggs for six in a skillet and then even longer to clean up from it. I have since made Alton Brown's belly buster burgers and pancakes on it and it has handled all beautifully. We have a custom outdoor kitchen and I think the burgers were better off of this griddle (but don't tell my hubby that!). I set it up on my (turned off) stove and use my hood-a-vent. For the price, this would even make a great gift to someone with a large family.
