Disappointing
After owning a DGB-600 for over three years, and being very satisfied, I decided to trust the Cuisinart name and replace it with this machine.
What a mistake, it feels like a cheap $9.95 bargain store brand. The basket doesn't fit securely, the lid is very flimsey and doesn't line up right.
Sent it back for a refund, and repaired my trusty old 600. Amazon is great about returning junk that has been bought in good faith.

Good overall
This automatic coffee maker works as advertised. The thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for several hours. The basket is easily removed for washing after the coffee's brewed. However, the display space that shows the time is very small. And it is quite difficult to discern whether the "auto" feature is on or off.

Spills over the top too often....
I purchased the Cuisinart DTC-975 thermal coffeemaker at our local ACE hardware store at the end of July. Since then it has become clogged and spilled coffee all over the kitchen numerous times. This morning it even spilled over when we used the pre-ground drip coffee that has never been a problem before. I always clean the filter and lid carefully, and we still have problems with it. I definitely do not recommend this coffee maker to anyone who is not absolutely meticulous about cleaning the filter, filter holder, and lid every time it is used. The lid is also difficult to screw on properly, and the coffee has to be ground exactly right or it clogs the holes in the filter holder and lid. When it works, the coffee is good and stays hot for several hours, but the frequent problems make this a poor investment.
