Ruby Colored Lemon!
The ruby color looked real pretty in my kitchen, but I wish it worked! We don't have the need to use a toaster very often so I had this toaster for almost a year. But it was clear after only a few uses and months that we bought a piece of junk! The buttons/controls started sticking and stopped working after only a few uses (and months) then we had to fight with the lift to bring the toast out! So don't plan on getting busy with other things while your making toast or you will have a burnt smelly mess.... but don't worry.... you won't have to deal with that long because after only maybe 20 uses, it died. But it sure looked pretty in the kitchen taking up space unusable!

Beautiful Piece of Junk
I fell in love with the looks of this toaster. Was very proud of it, until just over year of ownership, the controls stopped working and my family had to flee out of the house to prevent smoke inhalation. The only way we could get the toaster to stop was to hold our breath and unplug it. In recent research of this toaster, I've learned that this has happened to other owners of this product. Extremely dangerous, I plan on writing to Oster to inform them of this. I don't expect any compensation, but they should be made aware this. In the event an older infant is home unsupervised and making some toast, and gets distracted, the outcome could be disastrous!

Fire hazard
Our toaster worked for about 6 months then all the electronic buttons stopped working and the toast would not pop up even when trying to force the handle up. The only way to get the toast up is to unplug it. Dangerous piece of junk, should be recalled.
