False photo!
This is not an actual Roomba battery (as shown in the photo), but rather a cheap knock off! It may run fine initially, but who knows how long it will actually work?!? This battery is not at all associated with the Roomba brand. You can get cheap knock-offs even cheaper if thats what your looking for.
I expect more out of Amazon than this. What a waste of my time and energy, Im Sending mine back.

battery
i have read all of the other reviews on the battery pack/ I also have found that the life of the battery is short/unfortunately I think its the technology of the battery and not the system that is bad.
I like my Roomba and i use it as a back up system. it requires a certain amount of maintenance since i have a cat and the hairs really build up inside of the mechanism.
I think we can all agree that one needs more than one system to keep our homes clean. Hopefully battery technology will improve but i find that all batteries just store enough energy including the ones used on lap tops

works fine but false advertising using roomba logo
The battery shown is THE iRobot Roomba battery -- the company name/logo is even printed on the battery that is SHOWN. However, this is a bit of false advertising, as the battery that is actually being sold is a generic X brand -- just like the many others that are available on the market, but at least they advertise for being what they are -- a generic brand, not an actual battery made by iRobot. The product itself works fine, but consumers are not exactly getting what they have paid for -- the iRobot quality and brand.
