The Power Center is an easy-to-use 24 hour timer and 8-outlet indoor power strip in one convenient unit. It is an effective and efficient tool that makes aquarium and terrariums environments easier to manage. It can be used as a day-night timer or a wave-maker timer. This UL listed Power Center includes 4 timer-controlled outlets, 4 constant power outlets, a 24 hour mechanical timer with 15 minute setting intervals, alternate day-night cycle timer, a manual control switch, 3' heavy duty power cord, sliding outlet safety covers, 3-prong grounded outlets and plug, and a 15 amp-120 volt (1875 watts maximum) circuit breaker. When the 2 daytime timer-controlled outlets are on, the 2 nighttime outlets are off. This feature allows you to control tank and terrarium environments with daylight, nightlight, heat source, moonlight and wave-maker applications. It can control 2 pairs of water pumps (total of 4 outlets) at alternating intervals of 15 minutes or more to create a wave-maker application. The 2 sets of outlets will interchange between each other based on the timer setting. This wave-maker application creates a natural rhythm in your tank that replicates ocean tidal movements.

Just a power strip

Do Not Buy This Product!!! The worst feeling in the world is to read bad reviews of certain products and not take heed to the warnings. Do Not Buy This Product!!! It sounds like a very cool and convenient product but Do Not Buy This Product!!! It does not work. This is nothing but a very expensive power strip. The timer does not work. Do not be like me and buy this product after reading so many bad reviews about it. The timer feature is the reason why I bought this item. The timer feature is the only feature that doesn't work. The set up is simple enough although the wording of the directions will have you thinking that you set it up wrong. I've tried every program, every mode,every outlet, everything. The lcd works, the outlets works, but not the timer. If the timer is important to you, Do Not Buy This Product!!!. I've waited 24hrs in each mode to no avail. Don't Do It!!!

Nice device! Works accordingly...

The power center wDay-Night Timer works just as detailed in the product description. It is easy to set-up. Since I got I don't need to worry about turning on and off my fish tank's pump, filter, thermostat and lighting. Actually I have programmed it to turn on and off the light and under gravel filter power head at intervals during the day and night (helping me to interrupt unwanted algae growth, giving some direct "light rest" to those species that like dim conditions and providing mild current to species that like it as well). I have plugged in the thermostat and my Whisper power filter in the constant power outlets so they work independently all day. My community fish tank inhabitants are happy and thriving. The only thing to care about is in case of electrical break downs, the clock has to be readjusted, which is very easy to do. I will definitely get another power center for our office fish tank. Good product!

I purchased this power center when I switch from the hang over the tank filter to the under the cabinet filter. It was very easy to set up and seems to work beautifully. I particulary like the feature that I can have day/night setting for different accessories. Perfect!!
