fan died after one year of use
I used the fridge in my office for a year - it did a better of job of keeping cold things cold than cooling room temperature things but it was OK. However, the fan died just after a year of (mostly constant) use. (I would unplug it over the weekend or when on vacation but it was on Mon-Fri most of the time.)

Excellent mini fridge
This is the second mini fridge I've owned. This one keeps things much cooler than my old one did. I was always worried that my yogurts and sandwiches would go bad in it. I have no such worries with this fridge.
This one also opens and closes easier than my other one did. It even has a nice lock feature to stop the door from accidentally opening during transport.

Good concept, bad execution
I needed a fridge for work and thought this would work well. The compact size and low electricity usage seemed perfect.
The interior is just large enough for a 6-pack, but not if you keep it all tethered. The fans protrude into the storage cavity, limiting available space. The detachable shelves won't hold a can, and also take up valuable space.
The biggest problem, though, is that it doesn't cool much. If food or drinks are cold when they go in, they will warm up to about 55-60 degrees by lunch. Room temperature food or drinks remain. I once placed a thermometer inside for 30 minutes. THe room was 71 degrees. The thermometer read 69 inside.
I never tested the heating portion. I imagine it would be the same problem.
