Water Flow too Slow
If you have slow water flow before adding a Culligan under-sink filter, and don't need lead reduction, I'd recommend the D-30, which lasts 2-3 times longer, and has great flow. For the price of the D-40 you can almost buy 2 D-30's so you basically get about 4-6 times as much clean water for the price.
But if you've tested your water and it contains lead, I'd recommend this filter, because it is still great. It's just not as great for someone on a lower budget, who doesn't like to wait extra time for fresh water, like me.

Culligan water fliter cartridge
I've been using Culligan system for 4 year, it is a trust system, 4 years giving to me and my family clean and pure water, I normally use cartridges D30(1 year life) or D40(6 to 8 monts life) depend of the quality water source.

D-40 Equals great tasting water -
Direct from a Mountain Spring taste and well worth the price. The extra benefit is that it is GOOD for you as well. You know what you are drinking unlike bottled water that many are ONLY just filtered wated and not from the spring that they are named for. On further investigation these so called Mountain Spring have turned out to be a parking lot. The D-40 will save you hundered of dollars a year when you stop buying your wated in a Bottle.
