K-Cup Alternative
I bought this because I was tired of having to buy coffee from Keurig and wanted to use my own brand of coffee. It costs about the same, maybe a few dollars less, and you get to use your own coffee.

Great, but poorly made
I have been using my Keurig coffee maker for a couple of years and really like the coffee and being able to make a cup at a time, as I want it. Because I don't like many of the k-cups taste and I don't like spending the money on them, I bought the My K-Cup reusable filter. On the whole, I like the coffee it makes and it is pretty easy to fill and clean out (although, some of the convenience is lost by using this).
However, there are two issues with this filter.
1. It breaks pretty easily. I have now gone through about 3 of them (I've just started using the 4th) in my almost 2 years of using the Keurig coffee maker -- so one every 6 months. It seems no matter how careful I am with it, the lip breaks off. Why they cannot make this of higher quality, I don't know. It still is more economical than buying the pre-packaged k-cups (as well as being more environmentally friendly and tasty), but it does get old having to buy new ones.
2. Unless you get the grind right, which takes a bit of work, coffee grounds do end up in your coffee.
Other than that, I am happy with the reusable filter and will continue to buy them until they make something better.

weak coffee
keurig reusable coffee filter. I tried it five or six times with different brands of coffee. It always came out very weak coffee. There was not enough brewing time using this filter. The pod is stronger.
