The DiCAPac WP-550 waterproof case suitable for small and medium sized PDAs, cell phones, digital cameras and other devices measuring up to 120mm x 100 mm (4 3/4" x 4"), the DiCAPac case is fully waterproof to a depth of 5 metres (16 feet). It is also salt-water and UV (sunlight) resistant, this case will keep devices clean and dry in any conditions. It is absolutely 100% waterproof and airtight and it will float if dropped in water. The DiCAPac zipper and Roll & Velcro opening makes sure insides stays free from water, dirt, dust or sand. It comes with a carry cord and your device can still be used while in the case through the special window from both sides. Not an ideal solution, but it does keep the camera dry.
Bought this to use our little point-and-shoot while water rafting. It keeps the water out quite well but the pictures are not as clear as they should be. The plastic film leave quite a bit a haze on the pictures. Also wasn't the easiest accessing the controls, including the shutter button. Still, probably better than having to deal with buying a waterproof disposable and having to then go and (ewww!) develop the pictures. Certainly cheaper than buying a waterproof digital camera. All in all, not a totally horrible trade off. JMTC.
