Description
For quick meals, as part of a fast, hectic day, nothing is as efficient as making microwave meals. With Panasonic Microwave ovens, they can be tasty too! Panasonic has succeeded in evolving Turbo Defrost, which allows you to defrost foods even faster than previous Panasonic Auto Defrost. Panasonic Inverter Turbo Defrost technology is an advanced microwave sequencing system using the Inverter low-power delivery feature. It was developed on the basis of what scientists call "Chaos Theory." This design makes it possible to distribute microwave energy with the most appropriate combination of regularity and irregularity. Though heating foo9d is quick and easy, what about problems with heat retention once the food leaves the oven chamber? A pulsing delivery of very low microwave power keeps the temperature of your food at a constant level without overcooking. Our improved keep-warm menu now includes five items, so food like stew, gravy and desserts can stay warm in the oven until you are ready to serve. With Inverter Microwave Ovens, you'll have all the power you need to cook with ease, speed, and style. Panasonic's Inverter technology takes advantage of multiple power levels, and it maintains the best colour, shape, texture, and flavours of your food. Delicate foods can simmer without overcooking on edges and surfaces. And, due to consistent delivery of microwave energy, foods will no longer undercook in the center and have hard overcooked edges. With this technology you'll enjoy cooking your food - and eating it too! The Menu Action Screen is like having a gourmet chef to assist you in the kitchen. It scrolls step-by-step cooking instructions across the display in a choice of English, Spanish, or French. Our Function Key simplifies the programming of 10 useful, non-cooking functions. Died in two months
I paid extra for what I thought would be a good name. It wasn't worth it. It just stopped heating. It makes noise, spins, lights, but nothing gets warm. It's being fixed, under warranty, BUT... I had to drive over an hour to the service center (and will have to do the same in two weeks or so when it's ready to be picked up), they gave me a hard time for having a "screen shot" of the proof of purchase from Amazon, AND I'd have to be without a microwave for two weeks or more.
When it was working, it was decent, but, as others have written, it's annoying that the light doesn't come on when the door is opened. Also, from time to time, the turntable binds for no apparent reason.
I'd expect more for $130. I just bought a slightly smaller stainless steel GE from Lowe's for $90 which I like much better. Oh, well.

Behaving quite excellently.
Indeed excellent, with no problems at all. The 1300-watt power is a welcome step-up from my older 1000-watt oven. But the best part is that one can leave the door open when not in use, and the light is *not on*. A great enemy of microwaves is rust. People close the door when finished with the oven, mostly to save the electricity and bulb. (Try replacing a microwave bulb!) Now when I reheat my tea and tea water, several times a day, NO PROBLEME!

good microwave
Great at cooking solid foods, ok at cooking liquids and suspension foods. The auto cook feature does not work that good. Plenty of cooking space. Overall good, but not great microwave.
