Great tool & easy to use!
We got our first kitten in July. My husband had never wanted a cat because of the shedding issue. As soon as we got her, I bought the furminator and we LOVE it! Our cat enjoys it and usually falls asleep while I furminate her. (I do it about every four days and it takes me about 10 minutes) We do not have a shedding issue in our house and it is supposed to reduce allergens by 80% (although I cannot swear to that). It is easy to use and the amount of hair that is removed is remarkable. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with cats!

A comb with cutting edges between the teeth
It's basically a comb with cutting edges between the teeth. Great item if you use it regularily -*REGULARILY* is key- on double-coated (long or short hair) cats.
NOT good (at all!) for single-coat long hair cats.

DE SHEDDER
This tool helped me groom my senior cats. As the cats have gotten older, they are no longer able to groom themselves as well as when they were younger. I could brush them and remove the fur without tugging on the skin. They tolerated the deshedding!!
