If you need it in a hurry..
.don't buy it here. The unit does what its supposed to. The only setback is that someone has to let you back in the house or you have to listen to 110 right at your ear level. If you are facing inspection and need this overnight or by 2 day service, try the ACE hardware store, our's didn't have it but your's might. Our's didn't arrive in time for inspection even though we paid extra money to get it here on time. We failed our inspection so no pool for July 4th weekend and we now have to pay an additional $250.00 to have the inspector come back out again. So much for Amazon's "want it by July 2"? Yeah, we did but no, it didn't happen.

not practical
it's a simple design and works well enough to keep kids from going out. But it doesn't have an over ride button for coming back into the house. It you're like us and go in and out to your backyard alot, it's irritating to have the alarm go off whenever you come back IN the house.

Techko outdoor pool alarm
I purchased and installed this device on a shed door. It works. Im also happy that the device isnt so sensitve as to be set off by high winds moving door slightly.
