Worked well but started to leak
Comparing to the previous DuPont faucet mount filter I had, this was much better (in terms of water flow and leakage) for the first 1 year or so. Then the unfiltered opening started to leak when water was been released by the filtered opening. Finally, after 1 year and half, a very thin crack developed in two places in the case (in the middle-upper part). I tried to glue it together with silicone (didn't work) and duct tape (worked to some extent), but the water pressure is just too strong for the case to hold it, so it's still leaks a little bit. I guess it's bad engineering (needs a stronger case and a better control of water flow when in the filtered position to avoid leakages).
Would I buy it again? I may, since I still have 2 unused filters. And 30 dollars for 1 year and half of good water is not that bad.

Quick, relatively cheap solution
This product isn't particularly pretty, but it's cheaper than the under-sink type filter and, presumably, provides clean water in these days when we can't take for granted the safety of anything we eat or drink. I haven't tested the water, so I'm basing my assumption of effective filtering on faith. The filter is large, and the way it fits means it's harder to fit a large pot underneath, so take your faucet height/sink depth into account when considering this. It doesn't leak, and we've had no problems so far.
