Works well for what it's intended.
We've been using this now for a few weeks on our newly planted elm tree and it works great. It's low profile is perfect for our garden and it works just a described. No issues.

Tree Gator is a great product
THis is a great product if you want to be able to use for several locations and don't want something unsightly around the base of your trees. Might not be good if you have many, many trees, but good for use on a few.

Mr. Seattle
I have two (2) of these Tree Gator 15 Gal devices, and I am pleased to say that they do offer a great amount of water, soaking in over several hours, and it does work well...until a tiny pin hole leak appeared on one of the bags.
These bags are made of VERY thin plastic, and even though I was quite careful to not place it on anything that would puncture it, the pin hole appeared on the top side of the bag. Go figure. The second bag has had no problems, so perhaps it was just one of those freak things that happen. The company did send me a new one quickly, no charge, no fuss, which was I was impressed with. No complaints on their service what so ever.
That said, I am looking for more of a hard plastic watering container that can be planted down in the earth, again, in an almost circle shape.
