Description
By combining appealing and distinctive design with a powerful, fully programmable brewing system, this 1100-watt coffeemaker brews up to 10 cups of coffee quickly and efficiently. Along with its bright, blue, illuminated LCD display, the unit's control panel offers simple push-button functions including "on/off", a fully programmable clock, a programmable timer/auto-on from one to five hours, and an aroma switch that can be set to maximize flavor for one to three cups when less coffee is desired. With a no-drip spout and a generous handle for easy pouring, the unit's double-wall stainless-steel vacuum carafe maintains flavor and temperature longer. A popular pause-and-serve function allows for pouring a cup midbrew, and an audible signal indicates when brewing is complete. The appliance includes a soft-eject swing-out filter holder for easily adding ground coffee, as well as a magnified water-level indicator for high visibility. The machine's 60-ounce water reservoir provides a built-in water filtration system that removes chlorine and lime scale build-up to ensure better tasting coffee and longer machine life, while its automatic electronic de-scaling indicator measures brew time and calculates when de-scaling is necessary. I Don't consider coffee to be coffee unless KRUPS brews it!
I had a 4 cup one for about 15 years and loved it. Nothing like the fresh coffee aroma in the morning. Then I broke the pot and couldn't find a replacement...turned out I didn't look good enough..but alas I had pitched the whole unit.. Got one of those Mr You know who's. No comparison. No aroma...watery yucko taste.
Looked for a year and decided on this Krups I am so happy. Now I have the best coffee around again. To me Krups is THE brand of coffee maker...no one else comes close.
You will not be disappointed. You get what you pay for.
