developed a leak
I received this kettle as a gift last Christmas and would have given it a 5 star rating except that it developed a leak after about 10 months. I called Black & Decker and they said it was out of warranty based on a ID number on the plug. I would be reluctant to ever purchase one. If you do, make sure you keep the receipt and hope the leak occurs within one year.

Wonderful Tea Pot
A lot of people take issue with where the handle is on this hot pot as it is just above the spout while pouring. However, I take no issue. I can pour just after the water has finished boiling and my hand barely gets warm. That was my only concern when purchasing this and and I love it.
