Pitcher Needs to be Redesigned

I purchased the Pacifica pitcher from Costco. I like the fact that the plastic holding the filter is now clear, so you can see if the pitcher needs cleaning. However, the lip on the lid is so shallow, the lid has trouble staying in place. This is a TERRIBLE annoyance! It does not take a rocket scientist to design a water pitcher, but Brita missed this one by a mile. The older Brita water pitchers had a much more stable lid. This design has a more modern look, but IT DOES NOT WORK! Secondly, even with the water filter properly seated, I can see unfiltered water seeping around the filter- therefore, this pitcher produces partially filtered water. BRITA- WERE YOUR ENGINEERS DAYDREAMING WHEN THEY DESIGNED THIS?
