Description

The Capresso Infinity 565 uses the same burrs as found in fully automatic commercial machines. An advanced conical burr design and gear reduction motor creates less friction and heat, preserving maximum flavor and aroma in any grind setting. Slow grinding minimizes static build-up for superior taste. This professional-grade coffee grinder is for the connoisseur that appreciates the simply sophisticated palate of tastes that can result from selected and freshly ground coffee beans. Upper conical burr is removable for easy cleaning Tight fitting ground coffee container (holds up to 4 oz. of ground coffee) See through bean container holds up to 8.8 oz. of beans Timer can be set to grind from 5 to 60 seconds 110 Volts AC Stainless Steel Finish

Customer reviews for 'Capresso 565.05 Infinity Burr Grinder, Stainless Steel'

Outstanding grinder

I've had this grinder about 6 months; it's my latest and, I think destined to be the last, to come of a 2 year hunt for a good grinder. It's more expensive than I would like. But, it has worked flawlessly. In comparison with other burr grinders (I've had a Krups and a cheaper Capresso) this one uses metal blades instead of plastic and produces a very clean, uniform grind. You don't get powdery residue, just a nice grain of what ever fineness you dial up. It has a wide range. The finest grind is super fine, a powder, and the coarsest is a large (but again, uniform) grain. The powder is great for expresso, the coarse grain is great for a press pot, and you can get a grind exactly your liking for filters. I've not had to clean it much (once, maybe twice, and I'm a twice a day or more grinder) and when I did it was straightforward, not too messy. The only trivial thing I'd complain about with this one is that the curvature of the coffee bean reservoir lid somehow creates an illusion that the top is off. This can lead to you pour coffee beans onto the closed lid (hence onto your kitchen counter). But, do that once or twice and you'll learn to look close. Otherwise an outstanding grinder.
